It's not as simple as the movie

Tak se-sederhana film

Terkadang movie memberikan pelajaran hidup tersendiri bagi para audience. Cinta, setia, jujur, keberanian, ketabahan, dan ribuan pelajaran lainnya pun menjadi ramuan sebuah movie.

Generally, everybody in the world has ever watching movie. In the past, people could enjoy the movie on “layar tancep”. It is a Javanese term for a white and large screen connected to the projector to play a film. It was a luxurious entertainment and it need a huge struggle to get the chance to watch it. Many decedes later, TV had appeared to subtitute “layar tancep”. But, TV was tertiary thing and just certain family had it at ther house. They were look antusious to watch the favorite movie, such as Siti nurbaya, Rhoma Irama(love story), Suzana(horor movie), Warkop(commedy drama), Srimulat(commedy live show), etc. Then, at present we know that people can enjoy a lot of movie wherever and whenever they want. Let from TV, cinema, youtube, smartphone, Ipad, and many other means.

There are several function of movie, such as entertainment, education, aspiration and also commercial business. Based on these function, many kind of movie was produced due to the appropriate gendre of consumen(audience) and the purpose of production. People can choose one or more movie that they like. Many of them have criteria what kind of movie would be choosen. The favorite movie is an entertaining one because nowadays people like to watching movie for refrshing. Then, educative movie is also become a choice as an education medium. The educative movie contain moral values for the audience. For exemple, a peace, love, loyalty, honesty, courage, fortitude, etc. Educative movie sometime inform certain message that is connected to the situation of country at that time.Otherwise, society can express their aspirations to the government through a movie especially documentary movie.

View of the audience personality, there is an own impression of a movie for them. Not all movie they watched can give a notice or something unforgettable for them. It is depend on the quality of movie and the audience mood. Eventhough one person say that movie “A” is very good, it make me cry; but other person can say that it is nothing, I'm very sleepy in watching that.

On the other hands, the values of movie are not always ideal as in the reality. Sometime the simple problem in the real was packed in the very complex problem in the movie. It is usually named by “Lebay or Alay”. This phenomena let audience be affraid to face the reality, for example the conflics of country. On the contrary, the simple thing in the movie doesn't describe the complexity in the real. The mostly exemple is about the heart. In the romance movie, such as twilight, kuch-kuch hota hai, AADC(Ada apa dengan cinta), it is very simple to find someone she love. Actually it is difficult to determine who is love, friend, working partner, etc. For man, maybe it is easy to differ between love, like, amaze, or proud. But, for girls it is a complex thinking. Even, it is not just a thinking but a sentiment. In addition, an educative movie sometime show the negative scene though it bring many possitive values. One of the examples is violence in the childhood. So, it is important to select the right movie and to filter the values of the movie.
